Bird watching . . . hummingbird feeders and seeded bird feeders attract a variety of birds. Some of the birds that have
been seen on the property include bald eagles, osprey, great horned owls, wild turkey along with many more.
Wildlife watching . . .deer, squirrels, raccoons, fox and armadillos along with bobcats, wolves, coyotes and even a panther have been spotted on or from the property.

A magnificent fireplace in the Great Room will be lit on chilly
evenings. Comfortable chairs and couches are close by to curl up on and enjoy the warmth, aroma and soothing noises coming from the fireplace.

Games - chess, dominos and other games are available in the Game Room.
Library - filled with books about Texas and local history, astronomy, Indians, rocks, native plants and wildlife.
Gourmet basket lunches as well as romantic catered candlelit dinners are available and may be ordered when making your reservations.
Scrumptious foods - afternoon refreshments are offered on the
deck overlooking the Brazos; an evening dessert buffet is offered each evening and a gourmet breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. (special diets can be accommodated for if
advanced notice is given)
